Die Ruine Landsee ist eine der größten Burgruinen Mitteleuropas und bietet hinter jedem Tor, nach jeder Brücke völlig neue und überraschende Eindrücke.
Auf dem Burgfried auch "Don Jon" genannt, hat man von der Aussichtsplattform, einen herrlichen Rundblick über das
Mittelburgenland, zum Neusiedler See und in die Bucklige Welt .
Hier wurden im Sommer 1993 einige Szenen des Walt Disney Films " Die drei Musketiere" gedreht.
Wie z.B. das Duell der Musketiere mit "Kiefer Sutherland - Athos", "Oliver Platt - Porthos", "Chalie Sheen - Aramis" und Chris O'Donell" als D'Artagnan in den Hauptrollen.

Durch ihre Größe und Besonderheit im Grundriss war die Anlage besonders für die Fecht-szenen der Musketiere und die Kampf und Reit-szenen der Garde Richelieu's geeignet.
Der Aufwand für dieses gigantische Film-Spektakel muß gewaltig gewesen sein und hat sicher ganz Landsee und Umgebung in einen einige Wochen andauerden Ausnahmezustand versetzt.

Zur Zeit bin ich damit beschäftigt Kontakt zu Menschen zu bekommen, die bei den Dreharbeiten vor Ort waren, um mir ihre Erlebnisse erzählen zu lassen und evtl. auch Fotos von Schauspielern und vom Set zu bekommen. Das Ergebniss dieser Recherche hoffe ich so bald wie möglich hier auf dieser Seite präsentieren zu können. |

The ruins Landsee are one of the biggest castle ruins of Central Europe
